Nigeria's current economic crisis, according to House of Representatives Deputy Speaker Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, is not President Bola Tinubu's fault.
This is in honor of the congressman, who celebrated his 53rd birthday on Sunday by honoring widows, orphans, disabled individuals, and the elderly at his country house in Bende, Abia State. The Deputy Speaker responded to queries from reporters during the well attended event by explaining that President Tinubu is making a lot of effort to correct the mistakes made by the previous governments in Nigeria, which led to the country's current economic problems.
“The hardship we are passing through was not caused by this man. It's a piled up case of previous administrations and how they mismanaged one or two things.” Kalu urged Nigerians to be patient with
President Tinubu asserts that his programs are starting to show results as he works to address the difficulties he inherited.
“We cannot continue to live in lies thinking that all is well. Tinubu wants to clean up the place so that we can have a genuine livelihood that is sustainable. Let's keep supporting and encouraging him.”
He encouraged Nigerians to maintain faith in the existing government of the nation and forecast a better future for the nation following the current unrest
