“Nigerians Now See Me As A Nuisance And A Very Troublesome Båd Person, Big Brother Has Ruined My Brand And Image,” Phyna cries out.
Ijeoma Josephine Otabor popular known as, the winner of Big Brother Naija 2022, has lamented that the show has tarnished her brand and image, making her a target of public criticism. She claims that the show's organizers have refused to pay her the prize money of N100 million (approximately $1BTC) since her victory, and have even dared her to take legal action, confident that she will not succeed in court.
Phyna expressed her frustration, saying that the show has set her up for failure and made her appear as a troublesome and bad person in the eyes of Nigerians. She stated that many brands are now hesitant to work with her due to the negative tag attached to her name.
She said: “Not all brands want to work with me because of the tag you've put on me. Payme my money.
“Big Brother has ruined my brand And image, and set my up for failure, making me drag them online for something that's rightfully mine thereby making nigerians see me as A nuisance and a very troublesome bad person, since 2022 when I won big Brother Naija they have been owing me the ($1btc) n100 million prize money i won and they have refused to give me till today telling me I can never win them in Court and I should go ahead and sue them.”
She appealed to the public for help, saying, “Nigerians, please assist me! Big Brother Naija still owes me the N100 million prize money I won, and they have refused to pay me. They are daring me to take them to court, claiming I can't win. I urge you all to help me share my story and put pressure on them to pay me what is rightfully mine.”
Phyna's outburst highlights the controversy and drama that often surrounds reality TV shows like Big Brother Naija, and the impact it can have on the lives and careers of its contestants.
