300-level Kano University Student Found Dead In Her Apartment
AISHA Yahaya, a 300-level student in the Food and Science Technology Department of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology in Wudil, Kano, was discovered dead in a student hostel outside the campus.
Aisha was discovered dead after finishing her first exam paper during the current first-semester exams.
While the specific cause of her sudden death is unknown, theories say it could be due to test stress.
The Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria, Adustech Wudil, expressed its condolences, highlighting Aisha's social contributions and praying for her forgiveness and eternal peace.
Similarly, the university's Students Union Government expressed profound condolences to Aisha's family, recognizing her significant contributions to the academic community.
The statement partially reads, “We are really sorry to hear about the loss of Aisha Olabisi, a Level 3 student of Food Science and Technology. May Allan grant her peace and blessings.
“Please accept our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to her parents during this difficult time. Aisha will always be remembered for her contributions and the memories she leaves behind. During this time of grief, may Allah grant Aisha Olabisi Jannatul Firdaus and provide her family with the strength and patience to navigate through this difficult period.”
This scenario is similar to a catastrophe that occurred in 2021, when a 22-year-old Ahmad Idiris University student was discovered dead days after being reported missing.
As inquiries into the circumstances surrounding her death continue, the university community mourns the loss of a brilliant young student who leaves behind memories of her contributions and goals.
