Nollywood actor, Ogunjimi dies of unknown ailment
Ogunjimi, also known as Ganiyu Oyeyemi, a Yoruba-speaking Nollywood actor, has passed on.
However, the reason of death is still unknown.
More than 8 Nollywood entertainers have departed since January 2024: John Okafor, also known as Mr. Ibu; Amaechi Muonagor; Pope Obumneme Odonwodo, also known as Junior Pope; and Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji, also known as Sisi Quadri.
Olofa Ina, Adejumoke Aderounmu, Saratu Gidado, and Ethel Ekpe are among the other individuals who died.
The founder of Streams of Joy International, Jerry Eze, will join the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, for a four-day fast and prayer session in protest of Nollywood deaths.
“Actors cannot continue to die like chickens,” Rollas declared, emphasizing the need for prayers.
He asked supporters of Nollywood actors to enroll in the initiative in order to combat this deplorable accusation.
The M & M Center in Garki, Abuja will host the prayer session from May 2–5.
