UK University Grants Nigerians, Others £33k Scholarship
HUGE scholarships and travel allowances are now available to Nigerians and students from a limited number of least-developed or lower-middle-income nations who wish to study for a Master's degree in Global Plant Health at the University of East Anglia (UEA) in Norwich, United Kingdom (UK).
The David Sainsbury Scholarships in Global Plant Health, which offer significant financial support of £33,150 (N44.3 million) for tuition fees and an additional £4,000 (N5.3 million) for travel expenses, were recently made available by the institution.
For those who are selected, this financial opportunity seeks to help with international study expenses and full educational fees.
The Overseas Development Agency Development Assistance Committee (DAC) list for the 2024–25 academic year also requires applicants to be citizens of or residents of nations classified as least-developed, low-income, or lower-middle-income.
Interested parties are highly encouraged to apply as soon as possible, since there are only a limited number of scholarships available.
Awarding of scholarships will take place all year long, and prospective students are encouraged to check the university website frequently for any new scholarship possibilities that might arise.
These scholarships, which are specifically designed for the September 2024–2025 Academic Session, cover both tuition and a living stipend, the precise amount of which will be decided closer to the start of the academic year.
Prospective candidates must fulfill certain requirements in order to be considered for admission to the UEA MSc in Global Plant Health, among other requirements.
This program demonstrates the university's dedication to advancing global education and helping gifted people from many backgrounds achieve their goals of academic success and career advancement in the field of plant health.
