Tinubu To Attend The Inauguration Of Senegal's New President

TUESDAY, President Bola Tinubu will leave Abuja for Dakar, Senegal, to attend the inauguration of Bassirou Diomaye Faye, the incoming president of Senegal.

The president is visiting Senegal at the invitation of the country, according to a statement made public on Monday by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Advisor to the President (Media & Publicity).

According to the statement, President Tinubu, who chairs the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government, would attend the inauguration at the Diamniadio Exhibition Centre on Tuesday together with other regional leaders.

Senior government officials and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, will travel with him.

Following the inauguration, President Tinubu is anticipated to return to Nigeria.
