Ondo State Attorney General Appoints 274 Aides
The attorney general of Ondo, Kayode Ajulo, names 273 attorneys as assistants
Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice for the state of Ondoland, Kayode Ajulo, has designated 273 attorneys as assistants.
Honorary and technical advisers are what the prominent Nigerian advocate, SAN, described the aides as when making the statement.
“Upon assuming the position of Honourable Attorney General of Ondo State, a total of 273 lawyers, comprising both seasoned professionals and junior colleagues, eagerly presented a multitude of ideas to lend their support to me in serving the government and people of Ondo State,” he said.
“I have graciously appointed all the 273 lawyers, dividing them into two categories: Honorary Advisers and Technical Advisers to the Honorable Attorney General & Commissioner of Justice of Ondo State.”
Ajulo stated that the advisers' terms of engagement are incredibly creative and that they will improve the quality and morality of legal services provided to the state of Ondo.
He announced that the appointees' names will be made public soon and mentioned that they are attorneys who have made notable contributions to the legal profession, the government, academia, and social work, among other fields.
“They will provide invaluable guidance to reinforce the vision of the Office of the Attorney-General of Ondo State to be the best public law office in Nigeria,” Ajulo said.
The state attorney general outlined his eight points of concern, which included protecting women, children, and people with disabilities as well as ensuring that justice was accessible, reforming the justice system, maintaining uniform law enforcement, looking out for the welfare of law enforcement, and obeying court orders.
