Judge Sets N10 Million Bail With 2 Sureties For Cubana Chief Priest

CUBANA Chief Priest, Pascal Okechukwu, is a businessman. On Wednesday, the Federal High Court of Lagos State granted him N10 million in bail with two sureties.


Cubana Chief Priest was accused with naira abuse this morning, April 17, 2024, and entered a not guilty plea.


He appeared before Justice Kehinde Ogundare on three counts of misusing Nigerian currency. He was charged with violating the Central Bank Act of 2007's guidelines by allegedly spraying and tampering with the country's money while attending a social event.


According to reports, the incident happened at the Eko Hotel on February 13, 2024.


It was also said that Cubana Chief Priest had committed the offenses while dancing at a social gathering.


He was accused of tampering with N500 notes that the CBN had printed by spray-coating them for two hours.
