Why Nnamdi Kanu Wears Same Outfit To Court
| Nnamdi Kanu |
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader, Nnamdi Kanu, has revealed why he wears the same attire to court hearings every time.
Since his trial began in 2021, Kanu has been spotted in court wearing white Fendi clothing. On Tuesday, he answered a reporter's question.
Kanu only said, “They didn't give me any outfit” when questioned why he was dressing in the same clothes once more.
Kanu also requested on Tuesday that he be moved to Kuje jail by the Federal High Court.
He expressed worries that the Department of State Services (DSS) did not have sufficient medical facilities to treat him and that there was a plot to kill him while he was in the agency's care.
Additionally, the Federal High Court in Abuja denied bail to the arrested Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) leader in relation to the Federal Government's preferred accusations of terrorism.
Kanu further said that anyone participating in violence in the name of IPOB will suffer consequences and that, should he be freed from detention, the area could return to peace in a matter of minutes.
