Shettima Visits Buhari in Daura With Ministers and Senators

Vice President Shettima along with senators, ministers, and other high-ranking government officials, paid former President Muhammadu Buhari a visit at his Daura, Katsina State, home, on Saturday.

Several senators, ministers, and other senior government officials accompanied the vice president on the visit.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftains Senator Rochas Okorocha, Minister of Agriculture Abubakar Kyari, Minister of Budget and National Planning Atiku Bagudu, and others are in the entourage.

Senator Kashim Shettima, the vice president, was earlier received by Kastisna State Governor Dikko Radda at Katsina's Umaru Musa Yar'Adua Airport.

The Vice President went to see His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Umar Faruq Umar, the Emir of Daura, as soon as he arrived in the town.

Shettima expressed her admiration for the traditional ruler's committed efforts to maintain the area's prosperity, security, and peace during the visit.

The vice president also paid a visit to Katsina's Emir, His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Abdulmumini Kabir Usman.

Vice President Shettima thanked the Royal Father for his crucial contribution to preserving regional peace during the meeting.
