Asake, Rema, And Burna Boy Miss Out On The Brit Awards
The threesome consisting of Burna Boy, Asake, and Rema did not win any prizes at the Brit Awards, the most prestigious music awards show in the UK, this year.
The 2024 Brit Awards were broadcast on ITVI and ITVX on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from London's 02 Arena.
SZA, an American celebrity, beat Burna Boy and Asake in the Best International Act of the Year competition.
Miley Cyrus's “Flowers” beat Rema's “Calm Down” for the title of Best International Song of the Year.
Rema performed his hit song, Calm Down, electrifyingly to close the ceremony despite the loss.
Following Burna Boy's 2019 performance at the ceremony, he became just the second African artist to perform at the BRITs.
In the meantime, Raye has maintained her record as the BRITs' artist with the most victories in a single year.
Best New Artist, Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Best R&B Act, and Songwriter of the Year were among the six honors she won last night.
