Suspended Minister Betta Edu Prays To God To Deal With Her Enemies
Edu was suspended by President Tinubu due to a purported #585 million scandal in the ministry of humanitarian affairs.
Betta Edu, the suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, has prayed to God to help her overcome her foes.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is currently looking into Edu's case after President Bola Tinubu suspended her on January 8, 2024, due to claims that she intended to commit financial fraud.
The scandal engulfing the minister was exposed when it was alleged that she approved the payment of N585 million into a private account.
The National Social Investment Program Agency (NSIPA) and its National Coordinator, Halima Shehu, were consequently suspended from all programs under their administration by the President.
Shehu had previously worked for the ministry under the former Minister Sadiya Umar-Farouk as the National Coordinator of the Conditional Cash Transfer Program. The EFCC is also looking into the latter for a suspected $37.1 billion fraud.
Although Edu hasn't said anything since her ordeal started, her most recent message on her X page might provide some insight into her thoughts.
The Redeemed Christian Church of God (FCCG) General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, shared a post on his page on Saturday, March 2, 2024, which is when it all began.
