Mohbad’s Death: Police To Unveil Mohbad's Autopsy
The results of the autopsy on the late singer Lerioluwa Aloba, better known as Mohbad, will be made public in three to four weeks, according to Dr. Richard Somiari, Director of the Lagos State DNA and Forensic Centre.
On Wednesday, March 20, the doctor testifying in a coroner's inquest into Mohbad's death answered questions from the defense attorney.
Following Mohbad's death on September 12, 2023, which sparked controversy, the Lagos State Government started a coroner's inquest, which got underway on October 13.
It is possible that the late musician passed away following an injection given to him by a nurse, as his disc jockey (DJ) Ajisegiri Ayobami informed Magistrate Adedayo Shotobi.
Dr. Somiari provided the Coroner, Magistrate Adedayo Shotobi, with information regarding the autopsy results timeline during the most recent hearing.
He said, “We anticipated receiving the initial autopsy findings within three to four weeks to further confirm and authenticate the cause of death.”
Meanwhile, the late singer's buddy, the afro singer Ibrahim Owodunni, better known by his stage as Primeboy, was arrested by the Lagos State Police Command.
According to reports, Ayobami Fisayo, also known as Spending, and Primeboy were detained on Tuesday, March 12, while they were visiting the State Criminal Investigation Department in Panti, Yaba.
Based on information provided by an insider, Primeboy has been asked to appear at the SCID once a week since the inquiry into Mohbad's death began.
