Man Arrested After Smashing His Car Into The Gates Of Buckingham Palace
Police reported on Sunday that they had taken into custody a man who had crashed his car into the gates of Buckingham Palace in London over the weekend.
The car “collided with the gates of the royal residence at 02:30 GMT on Saturday,”according to the Metropolitan Police.
According to a force spokesperson, the man was taken to the hospital after being arrested by armed officers at the scene on suspicion of causing criminal damage.
The spokesperson said that no one was hurt and that investigations were still being conducted to determine the exact circumstances.

There have been several prior attempts at breaking into the palace.
