According to a report by The Will, Folorunsho Alakija, the richest woman in Nigeria, and her husband Modupe Alakija, who has been married for thirty years, have split up.

The businessman and the mother of four are said to have moved out of their married residence in upscale Ikoyi, Lagos.

The affluent woman was said to have demanded complete privacy in her home due to the frequent arguments between the couple. Her spouse was compelled to look for housing elsewhere.

It is said that he resides alone in the same Ikoyi neighborhood.
