Introducing the Central Bank of Nigeria's (CBN) Monetary Policy Committee (MPC)

The Monetary Policy Committee is the Bank's highest policy-making body, and its mandate is to review the financial and economic conditions of the economy.

Also to establish a short- to medium-term appropriate policy stance. Regularly review and, if needed, implement changes to the CBN's monetary policy framework.
