Bobrisky, a popular and controversial media personality, has shared details of his process of accepting his transgender identity.

Bobrisky said in a recent interview with Charly Boy that he dabbled with unisex clothing sales as a side gig while attending the University of Lagos to study accounting.

While promoting his products, he experimented with different feminine attire and found himself drawn to the looks, gradually blending them into his own style.

“About nine years ago, I was at the University of Lagos studying Accounting. I also had a side hustle; I was selling unisex clothes. Most times I try the female clothes on myself and I love the outfits,” Bobrisky recounted.

Bobrisky began offering feminine hairstyles and makeup as part of his crossdressing endeavors as more women began to visit his establishment.

He made the decision to keep transvestizing after receiving compliments on how he looked as a woman. At first, he did it as a marketing tactic.

“I wasn't thinking I was going to do it for a very long time. Initially, it was just a marketing strategy but people were complimenting me that I look better as a woman than a man. That's how I ended up being Bobrisky,” he explained.
