Addiction to drugs: I trekked from Awoyaya To Oriental Hotel — Solidstar
The famous Nigerian artist Solidstar has talked about his difficulties with hard drugs.
The “Omotena” hitmaker revealed that he was initially introduced to “ice” in 2021 by a group of young boys in a sneak preview of an upcoming Honest Bunch podcast episode.
Solidstar explained how the drug affected him negatively, saying it made him feel more important than he actually was and made him escape having to pay for items. When he was an addict, he described walking for seven hours from Awoyaya in Ibeju Lekki to the Oriental Hotel on Victoria Island in Lagos.
In retrospect, Solidstar acknowledged the impact of his encounters with ice on his conduct and decision-making, underlining the negative consequences of substance usage. He also expressed sorrow for their experiences.
