People Would've Died By Now If Datti Was LP Presidential Candidate In 2023 — Julius Abure

Datti Baba-Ahmed, Labour Party Vice Presidential and Julius Abure, Labour Party National Chairman 

Nigeria would have been divided, according to Julius Abure, national chair of the Labour Party (LP), had Datti Baba-Ahmed been the party's nominee for president in the 2023 elections.

Responding to a query on 90 Minutes Africa from Rudolf Okonkwo, Abure made this statement on Sunday.

The LP's presidential candidate in the most recent election, Peter Obi, had Baba-Ahmed as his running mate.

“We had a supporter of the Labour Party on the show one time who said if there were a switch and Datti was the candidate while Peter was the vice- presidential candidate that the outcome would have been different,” Okonkwo said.
