MC Oluomo Surprisingly Bids Major Bid To Become President of NURTW

Musiliu Akinsanya, the famous transport union boss otherwise known as MC Oluomo has pulled a major surprise in his bid to become President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).

The well-known transport union leader Musiliu Akinsanya, also referred to as MC Oluomo, has shocked everyone with his candidacy for president of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).

Finally, he has gained the backing of his friend Adekunle Mustapha, better known by his stage name Seego.

With stronger connections to the power cycle that grants the transport union legitimacy, Seego has taken over as the new chairman of the NURTW in Lagos State.

The two split up over rumors that MC Oluomo tried to secretly hold onto power in the Lagos state NURTW prior to Seego's acquisition.

Prior to that, it was planned for Seego, the recently appointed treasurer, to take over as Chairman of the NURTW in Lagos from MC Oluomo, with the former being backed to become the National President of the transport union.

Seego's counter-actions thwarted MC Oluomo's clandestine venture with the Lagos NURTW and opened a void that was subsequently taken advantage of by other candidates vying for the NURTW President position, most notably Tajudeen Agbede.

Yet insiders revealed that pressure from “unexpected quarters” has resulted in a “last-minute truce” between Seego and MC Oluomo, and they are now collaborating once more to choose the next NURTW President.

According to sources, Seego was unable to refuse the “people” who stepped in to help.

“It caught many by surprise, MC Oluomo's involving those people to mend fences between them was unexpected,” according to sources.

According to reports, MC Oluomo and Seego met to “formalize” the new agreement, which included the latter's pledge to refrain from interfering with the NURTW's affairs in Lagos state unless specifically instructed to do so in the event that he is elected national president.

“That is why MC Oluomo has become more visible with new springs in his steps and known associates of Seego have started campaigning for him and not abusing him again.”
