Access Holdings has confirmed that on Friday, February 9, 2024, in the United States, a helicopter crash claimed the lives of Herbert Wigwe, the group CEO, along with his wife and son.
The company's sincere condolences are extended to the family and loved ones of Herbert, Doreen, and Chizi by Access Holdings' secretary, Sunday Ekwochi.

The group chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX Group), Abimbola Ogunbanjo, and Wigwe, along with his wife and son, were in the helicopter when it crashed in California close to the Nevada border.
There were six people on board, but no survivors have been located as of yet.
