Economic Hardship: People Protest Over Economic Suffering

Osun and Edo state residents who are members of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) have taken to the streets in protest of the nation's economic hardship.

Nigeria's inflation rate has risen to 29%, and since the fuel subsidy was eliminated, living expenses have increased. This has led to discussions and demonstrations in certain regions of Nigeria.

The capital cities of Edo and Osun states, Benin City and Osogbo, respectively, saw street protests by CSOs in protest of the economic hardship caused by these.
