Private Jet Carrying VIPs Crashes In Ibadan


A private jet, with 10 persons onboard, including Very Important Personalities (VIPs) has crash-landed in Ibadan



The capital of Oyo State, Ibadan, is where a private jet carrying roughly ten people, including Very Important Personalities (VIPs), crashed to earth.


According to a reliable source, the plane crashed into Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport on Friday morning at approximately 11:00 a.m.


The aircraft, registered N580KR, veered off the runway and into a nearby bush.


The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) dispatched firefighters and rescue officials to the scene right away. However, no recorded casualties or deaths occurred.


“It was a private plane from Abuja. It landed safely but overshot the runway. There was no casualty, a spokesperson for the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Carol Adekotujo, told correspondents. 


Spokesman for the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau, Tunji Oketunmbi, said he would revert but he was yet to do so as of press time.
