Police Arrest Notorious Kidnapper Who Killed Lawyer's Daughter Nabeeha In Abuja


Operatives of the Nigerian Police Force have arrested a deadly kidnapper, suspected to be involved in the abduction and murder of Nabeeha, daughter of a Bwari lawyer. 



The police have detained a 28-year-old suspect from Zamfara state in Kaduna named Bello Mohammed. He is suspected of killing 13-year-old Nabeeha Michelle, the daughter of lawyer Oladosu Folorunso Ariyo, who practices in Abuja.


The notorious abductor was apprehended on January 20, 2024, by the Divisional Police Officer, Tafa Division. Based on intelligence, the officer raided a single hotel in Tafa Area, Kaduna, and apprehended Bello. He seized a total of #2.25m (two million, two hundred and fifty thousand naira), which was believed to be the proceeds of ransoms collected from abducted victims in the vicinity.


The police reported that during the suspect's interrogation, he admitted to being a member of the group that killed some of the kidnapped victims, including the lawyer's daughter Nabeeha, f, on January 13, 2024, in a kidnapper's camp in Kaduna state. The kidnappings occurred in Bwari, Federal Capital Territory.


Remember that on January 7, 2024, at approximately 7:30 p.m. on a Sunday, a group of abductors disguised in full military uniforms broke into his house in Dutse, Abuja's Sagwari Layout Estate.


Michelle Ariyo, his firstborn, was later killed, and her body was dumped on Kaduna Road. The bandits also threatened to kill his wife and his other three children if he did not give them the N60 million ransom.
