The Ondo State Governor, Honorable Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has dissolved the State Executive Council effective immediately.

The State Executive Council (SEC) has been dissolved immediately by Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the governor of Ondo State.

All cabinet members are to turn over to the Permanent Secretaries or the highest ranking administrative officers in their respective offices right away, according to a statement released on Wednesday by Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, his chief press secretary.

“All the affected officials are directed to hand over all government properties in their possession.

“The Governor thanks the affected officials for their services and contributions to the development of the State,” the statement said.

Adeniyan added that all Special Assistants (SAs) and Senior Special Assistants (SSAS) have been relieved of their responsibilities effective immediately.

The impacted Commissioners and appointees were chosen by the recently deceased Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, according to reports.
