Powerful explosion rocks Ibadan, causing destruction of properties

There was confusion on Tuesday night, following the sound of an extremely loud explosion in Oyo state's city of Ibadan.

Multiple X users reported that the explosion caused damage at multiple locations and shook several houses.

According to reports, the incident occurred after 7:00 p.m.

MON DIARIES are unable to determine the at the time of filing this report cause of the explosion or the exact number of casualties, despite confirmation from some X users that it was a gas explosion.

The video coming from X appears to show house windows. several places, including houses, were blown out, and a portion of the ceiling at Ace Mall in Bodija fell.
