CAF initiates random Drug Test for Victor Osimhen following outstanding performance against cameroon
Osimhen of the Super Eagles is chosen by CAF for a random drug test after his impressive performance against Cameroon.
The Nigerian international Victor Osimhen has been selected by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for a random drill following his excellent performance against Cameroon in Saturday's AFCON 2023 Round of 16 match.
Osimhen's desperate attempt to win the ball was the main reason behind the Super Eagles' 2-0 victory. One such occasion saw Osimhen strip a Cameroonian defender of the ball and feed Lookman a low pass for the first goal.
Throughout his time on the field, he relentlessly pursued down every ball and posed a constant threat to the Cameroon defense.
His unwavering performance caught the attention of CAF, and as a result, he was chosen for an arbitrary examination.
Usually, players are picked by drawing of lot for all the players in a matchday squad.
However, a player can also be picked randomly if they notice any unusual behaviour.
