FAAN Prohibits The Use Of “Ghana Must Go” Bags At Airports

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), has banned the use of 'Ghana Must Go' sacks by passengers at all airports in the country

It said the bags have a way of causing serious breakdowns of the conveyor belt system

It has been reported that the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has prohibited travelers from using the well-known “Ghana Must Go” bags at airports within the nation.

The ban is specifically for travelers passing through the nation's international airports, per a November 24 circular from FAAN titled “Re: Prohibition of Usage Of Ghana Must Go,” which is signed by Manager, Airport Services, Henok Gizachew.

According to Gizachew, the sack was banned by the authorities since it caused significant losses for the airlines and harm to the conveyor belt equipment at the airport.

He mentioned that those who want to use Ghana Must Go must have the same well-packaged, rectangular hardcover or carton.
