Every Part Of Nigeria Will Feel Impact Of Tinubu's Govt – Shettima
The government of President Tinubu will have an impact on every region of Nigeria says Vice President Shettima
Vice President Kashim Shettima has guaranteed that the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will have an impact on every region of Nigeria.
He asserted that the only way to promote peace, unity, and development is to make sure that no region of the nation is left out of the administration's pursuit of development.
Shettima provided the assurance when he hosted the Mishkahan Mwaghavul, HRH John Hirse, a traditional ruler from Mangu in Plateau State, who brought a delegation to his office in Abuja as a courtesy, according to a statement released by his spokesperson, Stanley Nwocha.
The vice president gave the delegation his word that Mangu would see peace restored as soon as possible, emphasizing that President Tinubu was in control of the situation and that peace would eventually return to all of the country's troubled areas.
According to Shettima's statement; “The crisis in Plateau State has nothing to do with religion. It is just for us to understand ourselves and coexist peacefully with one another. Plateau State is a blessed land with both Muslims and Christians. What binds us together supersedes what divides us. This administration will deploy all resources towards addressing all the political contradictions in the bid to restore peace and harmony in the State.
“We are going to address, by the grace of God, all the internal contradictions, the political connotations and even the ethnic undertones which are part of the conflict and ensure we find a lasting solution. Ours is a great nation chained by so-called social contradictions that we have in the system and it is absolutely essential that for peace and development of our nation, we must restore the confidence of the people and the government.”
Da John Putmang Hirse had earlier stated in his speech that he and the other members of his delegation had traveled to Aso Villa to express gratitude to the vice president for personally attending his coronation and demonstrating his role as a father to all.
