Dejumo Lewis, Veteran Actor Of The Village Headmaster Series Dies
Dejumo Lewis, the seasoned Nollywood actor from the hit television series “Village Headmaster,” is dead
At the age of 80, the seasoned actor passed away. On Saturday, actor Saidi Balogun posted a post on his Instagram account announcing the death. “Good night, DEJUMO LEWIS. May your soul rest in perfect peace,” wrote Saidi, who posted a picture of the deceased veteran. RIP.”
In the interim, the precise circumstances surrounding Lewis's demise are still unknown. Yet, fans and other Nollywood actors and actresses have expressed their condolences in response to Balogun's tribute.
Lewis is a well-known Nigerian actor from both film and television. He gained notoriety for playing Kabiyesi in The Village Headmaster, the longest-running television soap opera in Nigeria, which aired on NTA from 1968 to 1988 and starred Justus Esiri, Femi Robinson, and numerous other celebrities. In addition, Lewis is well-known for his iconic roles in critically acclaimed movies like “A Place in the Stars” (2014), “Crossroads” (2020), and “Power of 1” (2018).
