Court Confirms Fubara’s Loyalist Ehie As Authentic Speaker Of Rivers Assembly
The Rivers Assembly's legitimate speaker, Ehie, is confirmed by the court as Fubara's loyalist
A High Court Sitting in Port Harcourt has confirmed Edison Ehie as the authentic Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly
Edison Ehie is officially recognized by the High Court as the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly. prevents Martin Amaewhule, Wike's ally, from serving as Speaker.
In addition to having three assembly members in his camp, Edison is an ally of Governor Sim Fubara.
In addition to confirming Rt. Hon. Edison Ehie, Esq. DSSRS, as the legitimate Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, a High Court sitting in Port Harcourt under the seal of Hon. Justice M.W. Danagogo has also ordered Martin Amaewhule and Dumle Maol to refrain from praising or meddling in Rt. Hon. Edison Ogerenye Ehie's official duties as Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly.
The court also issued a warning against using police officers and thugs to forcefully enter the Rivers State House of Assembly Complex.
