Cardoso Approves The Revised Service Charter For CBN
| Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Mr. Olayemi Cardoso |
The Central Bank of Nigeria's revised Service Charter has been approved by Governor Mr. Olayemi Cardoso
The Business Facilitation Act (BFA) 2022 stipulates that the Service Charter must be followed in order to promote ease of doing business in Nigeria.
Furthermore, it allows the Bank to completely adhere to the recommendations made by SERVICOM Nigeria (The Presidency) about the enhancement of customer service delivery.
The Bank's commitment to working with its external clients to satisfy their service standards is outlined in the Charter, along with the Bank's expectations of them.
In the foreword, the Governor reiterated the Bank's “commitment to providing more responsive and citizen-friendly governance through quality service delivery that is efficient, accountable and transparent.”
The Bank's directives, vision, mission, and basic values are all outlined in detail in this document.
It includes a list of the services that the Bank provides via each of its departments as well as the service requirements for each service.
A standardized Customer Complaints Form and a process for resolving service failure in any of the Bank's services are also included in the Service Charter.
