Senator Akpabio apparently slumps following his 61st birthday celebration in Abuja
Godswill Akpabio, the president of the Senate, was taken to the hospital after collapsing at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja on Thursday.
GodsWill Akpabio, the president of the Senate, reportedly passed out on Thursday, December 14, following a colloquium in honor of his 61st birthday in Abuja.
As Akpabio watched President Bola Tinubu go, he slumped.
To commemorate the Senate President's 61st birthday in Abuja, Tinubu and other dignitaries had convened at the hotel's Congress Hall for a colloquium.
According to sources is: “Senate President Akpabio collapsed today after his 61st birthday colloquium in Abuja while seeing the President off.
“He was briefly stabilised before being rushed to the NNPC hospital in Abuja where he was wheeled into a special room on a stretcher. He has remained at the hospital.”
