Rapper Diddy Settles "Amicably" With His Ex-girlfriend Cassie
The singer accused the hip-hop mogul of rape and bodily abuse, and the suit settled the next day
American hip-hop artist Sean Combs, also known as Puff Daddy, and his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, also known as Cassie, reached a "amicable" settlement one day after Cassie accused him of rape and ten years of abuse in a federal complaint.
In remarks made public on Friday, November 17, the ex-couple revealed this.
Ventura filed a lawsuit on Thursday, alleging that Combs had sexually assaulted her and repeatedly abused her physically and in other ways over a period of years.
But on Friday, she said in a statement: " have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control. I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support."
Combs also released a statement of his own saying: "We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love."
