Nigeria May Have Signed The Controversial EU - ACP Agreement
| President Bola Ahmed Tinubu |
It's possible that Nigeria signed the contentious EU-ACP Agreement on November 15, 2023
If signed, the EU-ACP will influence Nigerian parental norms and the culture of childhood sexuality while also promoting LGBTQ beliefs in that country.
Despite parents' outcry over the sexualizing nature of Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE), a legally binding 20-year agreement will bring CSE back into schools.
Concerns were expressed by Sonny A. Kosi, the chairman of the human rights committee, regarding clauses in the agreement that go against Nigerian principles.
Korsi complained that the agreement's acceptance quietly advances LGBTQ ideology, which is in opposition to Nigeria's cultural, religious, and philosophical traditions. He brought out the fact that lawmakers were not given enough time to carefully review the pact before to its planned signature.
It was supposedly rejected by Namibia and Ghana to sign the accord.
