Omowunmi stated she had a wonderful relationship with her father-in-law, whom she referred to as her best friend, during her cross-examination by David Fadile, the father of the deceased's attorney.
She claimed that on September 11, Monday, her late husband informed her that he had too many opponents and that he wanted them to go to Canada.
He doesn't post about her on social media, she had asked, adding that they were gisting.
The dead allegedly told her it was to keep her and their child safe.
She said he told her: "if they don't get me, they might get to her or their baby. That he has family overseas. That he doesn't want anything to happen to her or his boy."
She claimed to have spent more than ten years—since her days in secondary school—with her late husband.
Omowumi told the coroner more about her husband's death's causes, escorted by her attorney Taiwo Olawanle from Falana and Falana Chamber.
Omowumi testified in court that she and her husband had never argued before his passing.

In her deposition, which the coroner acknowledged, she stated that her late husband was supposed to visit the hospital for treatment of the wound he received from his encounter with Prime Boy. However, he chose not to go because of his prior encounters with NDLEA agents and his apprehension of Azeez Adeshina Fashola, also known as Naira Marley.
She claimed that members of the NDLEA struck him in the head with the butt of their gun.
Recall that Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023, in a controversial manner, and was buried at Ikorodu the next day.
