Alphonsus Alexander Kalthy Bazza, a captain in the Nigerian Army, is said to have left a note before taking his own life in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

Captain Bazza's lifeless body was discovered hanging from a tree in a bush at the 2 Brigade Step-Up Headquarters for Exercise at the state's Essien Udim LGA, on Saturday night, November 11, 2023.

SaharaReporters was able get some of Captain Bazza's notes from family sources on Saturday, November 18. These documents indicated that Bazza had a tense relationship with his army base commander.
