Court Resolves Asamoah Gyan's Divorce Settlements

Asamoah and Gifty Gyan With Their Children 

Court grants Asamoah Gyan's ex-wife two houses, cars, and other items as part of their divorce settlement

The divorce settlement between former Ghanaian football player Asamoah Gyan and his ex-wife Gifty Gyan has been decided by a court in Accra, Ghana.

According to local news reports, the court decided on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, that the former captain of the Black Stars must give Gifty Gyan a monthly allowance of 25,000 Ghana cedis as financial assistance.

However, certain charges including school fees, dental and medical care, airfare, and other childcare expenses are not covered by this financial aid.

The court further decided that Gifty Gyan would receive Asamoah Gyan's mansion in the United Kingdom as part of the settlement.

Additionally, Gifty Gyan was given two cars—an Infiniti and a BMW—and a four-bedroom home in Spintex, Accra by the court.

Asamoah Gyan's land, which was initially intended for the building of a filling station, has also been assigned to Gifty Gyan.

The ex-couple has been in court since 2020 and together they had three children.
