APC's Ododo Wins Kogi Governorship Election
Ododo of the APC took the lead early after INEC announced the results of 18 LGAs
INEC Postpones Collation of the Final Three Kogi LGAs, With the APC Leading by More Than 200k Votes.
Based on results from the 18 Kogi State Local Government Areas (LGAs) that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has so far announced, the All Progressives Congress (APC) is leading by a sizable majority.
The ruling party's candidate, Usman Ododo, has won eleven local government areas (LGAs); his Social Democratic Party (SDP) opponent, Muri Ajaka, has won six LGAs; and Leke Abejide of the African Democratic Party (ADC) has won one LGA.
Thus far, Dino Melaye of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has received 41,925 votes, Ajaka has received 208,503 votes, and Ododo has received 409,450 votes.
