SAUDI PRO LEAGUE: Ronaldo Trying To Convince Ex-Manchester United Player To Join Al-Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo, the captain of Al-Nassr, is apparently actively trying to persuade David de Gea, a former teammate from Manchester United, to join him at Al-Nassr.

According to 90min, Ronaldo has been attempting to convince De Gea to accompany him to the Saudi Pro League.

The proposition hasn't convinced the seasoned Spanish goalkeeper, who wants to stay playing in the UEFA Champions League.

De Gea left the team after his contract with Manchester United expired in the summer.

The 32-year-old has so far been unable to join a suitable club.

De Gea is ready to hold out until the January transfer window in the hopes that a more desirable option will emerge.

Due to the injuries to their starting goalies Thibaut Courtois and Manuel Neuer, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich were considering trades for De Gea.

However, both clubs opted against signing De Gea and interest from Saudi and the Qatar Stars League has not attracted the goalkeeper.
