Lagos Tribunal Confirms That Gov. Sanwo-olu Won The 2023 Governor's Race

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu's election has been upheld by the Lagos State governorship election petition tribunal.

Justice Mikhail Abdullah confirmed Sanwo-Olu's victory while rejecting the petitions of the Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) Olajide Adediran and the Labour Party's (LP) Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, who were running for governor, respectively.

Separate petitions were submitted by GRV and Adediran to challenge the results of the state's most recent governorship election.

The applications were, however, denied by the tribunal presided over by Justice Abdullah.
