EPL: Pep Guardiola Predicts Chelsea And Manchester United Fates This Season

Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, thinks Chelsea and Manchester United will improve after having a rough start to current Premier League season.

On Saturday, United suffered a 3-1 loss at home to Brighton while Chelsea was held to a 0-0 draw at Bournemouth.

In their first five Premier League games, Erik ten Hag's team has now lost three times, while the Blues have only managed one victory.

Guardiola asserted that "sooner or later" both United and Chelsea will regain their form.

When asked about United's start, Guardiola said: "Well they didn't start like I think they expected, like Chelsea, but always Man United, Chelsea, sooner or later they take the rhythm.

"But it is important for us, after winning the treble, [winning] five from five is really, really good."
