Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, has acknowledged that the club has struggled to score goals.

Arteta, however, is adamant that the Gunners are not considering bringing in a striker in January.

Both Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah began Sunday's 2-2 draw against Tottenham at home, but both faced criticism after failing to score.

Arsenal has scored 11 Premier League goals this season compared to an anticipated total of 11.38.

Arteta declared: "There's various ways to score goals and we are scoring goals.

"But we should have scored many more with the chances we have created."

Ivan Toney's potential signing by Arteta upon his January suspension return has been suggested in reports this week.

But the Spaniard responded, "We're not thinking at all about that.

"We have really good players up front. It's true that right now we have some injuries. We will continue with the players we have."
