Why Messi's PSG Suspension Of Two Weeks Was Revoked

After PSG's 3-1 home loss to Lorient in a French Ligue 1 match on April 30, the 35-year-old left for Saudi Arabia without the club's consent.

The 3-1 Ligue 1 victory against Troyes on May 7 was missed by the World Cup champion of Argentina as a result.

Messi did, however, return to Camp des Loges earlier this week, as seen by images posted on PSG's Twitter account on May 9 of him working out.

That raised questions about why Messi's sentence was lifted, and according to RMC Sport, the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner and PSG reached an unspoken agreement that culminated on May 5 in an apologetic video.

In the video, which Messi shared on social media, he can be heard apologizing to his "teammates" for what he did.
