Thibaut Courtois, the goalkeeper for Real Madrid, has picked Inter Milan to defeat Manchester City in this year's Champions League final.

The Belgian international wants his countryman Romelu Lukaku to win the champs League trophy, thus he is cheering for the Italian team to defeat the English champs.

On June 10, Inter will face Manchester City in the Champions League final in Istanbul as the clear underdogs, with the Champions appearing unstoppable and headed for the treble.

The team led by Pep Guardiola has already won the Premier League, their fifth championship in as many years. On June 3, they are expected to defeat Manchester United in the FA Cup final.

Courtois is cheering for Italy because of his pal Lukaku, who spent the season on loan from Chelsea at the San Siro and helped knock Courtois' Real Madrid out of this year's competition in the semi-finals.

Courtois' support for Manchester City did not change even though Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City will also be playing in the championship game.

The 31-year-old expressed his hope for Romelu's success on Prime Video. He's up against Kevin, of course, but I've known Romelu a little longer.
