SERIE A: Modric Makes The Decision To Part Ways With Real Madrid

Midfielder Luka Modric of Real Madrid has disclosed his final decision about his future at the Santiago Bernabeu.

When his current contract expires at Real Madrid, the talented Croatian midfielder says he would like to stay there the season's conclusion.

Although he has not yet agreed to a new contract, the club is allegedly open to keeping him on after this season.

At the weekend, Modric assisted Real Madrid in winning the Copa del Rey against Osasuna, adding another prize to their collection.

After the win, the Croatian confirmed to press that he was eager to stay.

He said, "The idea is to continue at Madrid but... we'll see what happens. This club is my whole life, Real Madrid is my whole life."

Whatever happens in the future won't affect Modric's connection with Real Madrid, he stated, adding that he is calm about his present contract status at the club.
