Nnamdi Kanu, the head of the Indigenous of Biafra, is suffering from deteriorating health, according to well-known Biafra agitator Simon Ekpa.

This was said by Ekpa on his official Twitter account on Wednesday.

Nnamdi Kanu gave him the order to let everyone know that his ear infection is getting worse, according to the lawyer and Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government in Exile, BRGIE, who is based in Finland.

He declared that Kanu's ears required urgent surgery.

He claims that Nnamdi Kanu is dissatisfied with the Nigerian government's continued defiance of the court's release order.

According to Ekpa, the Nigerian judiciary is responsible for the ongoing postponements of Nnamdi Kanu's trial.

"Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's present condition; I have been directed by our leader MNK to alert the world on his present condition and demand. MNK has instructed me to let Nigerians, Biafrans and all human rights organisations know that the ear ailment inflicted on him due to torture has been disturbing him in his left ear.

"The infection has now affected his right ear and needs urgent surgery. The DSS finally brought a doctor, who confirmed that urgent surgery is needed because he was in severe pain and couldn't sleep again. Our leader also instructed me to alert the world that any time his case is coming up, either here in Nigeria or outside Nigeria.

"The world should also know that since the history of law in the world as a whole, this is the first time a superior court of record, i.e. The Court. of Appeal, which is second to the highest court of the land, will give judgement and discharge someone and the same Court of Appeal through another Panel ask the authorities of judgement by granting an unknown stay of execution to the Government authorities," he wrote.

Remember that the Nigerian government detained Kanu again in 2019. President Muhammadu Buhari's administration refused to release the man on bail despite multiple court decisions.
