LIGUE 1: PSG REACTS WHEN FANS GATHER OUTSIDE NEYMAR'S HOUSE, CHANTING FOR HIS DEPARTURE [VIDEO]
Paris Saint-Germain has denounced the behavior of certain fans who gathered outside striker Neymar's residence and yelled for him to leave the club.
PSG has had a difficult week after suspending superstar Lionel Messi for two weeks following an unapproved vacation to Saudi Arabia following a home defeat to Lorient on Sunday.
On Wednesday, supporters were caught yelling for the PSG board to quit outside the club's headquarters, before fresh footage showed a group of fans visiting Neymar's residence and urging him to leave.
The furious supporters screamed 'Neymar get lost,' and the Brazilian, who has been out of action since February due to injury, verified their presence outside his home.
After the supporters had finally left his property, Neymar tweeted, "They have just left my door," along with a crying emoji.
In response to the news, PSG issued a statement calling the fans' actions "shameful."
"Paris Saint-Germain most strongly condemns the intolerable and insulting actions of a small group of individuals that took place on Wednesday," a club statement read.
"Whatever the differences of opinion, nothing justifies such actions.
"The club gives its full support to its players, its staff and all those targeted by such shameful behaviour."
