Chelsea legend John Terry, recently sold his 18th-century Surrey property for £23 million.

The former England star sold the property he purchased for £4.1 million in 2019 for a whopping £20 million profit.

Before permanently selling the property, Terry purchased the structure, renovated it with Toni by providing a number of amenities, and then did so.

According to The Sun, Terry and his wife have a keen eye for interior design and have renovated other rooms in addition to building a sizable outside swimming pool and bar.

The couple also refurbished the garages to accommodate a number of opulent sports vehicles and added a gym.

Four other houses in the Surrey Estate, one of the most prestigious regions in Britain, have been linked to the former Chelsea captain, who is expected to return to Stamford as a manager in the future.

According to a source who spoke to the Sun, Terry and Toni want to make more real estate investments.

"They have made a huge profit which they can now use to invest in other homes. It's a pretty tidy sideline," the source said.
