Hugo dos Santos Aveiro, Cristiano Ronaldo's older brother, is involved in a scandal involving fake jerseys.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the scandal that dates back to Ronaldo's time at Juventus in 2019 will now see the superstar's brother on trial on June 20.

Hugo is the proprietor of Mussara, a business that has a $538 million contract for the distribution of Ronaldo's goods with the Italian firm Pegasus.

Ronaldo's jerseys are produced and sold online by the company.

It all began when the CR7 Museum emblem was added to Ronaldo's jersey in place of the Adidas logo.

Hugo also serves as the CR7 Museum's manager, and the jerseys with the insignia were deemed to be phony.

Even 13,000 of these 'fake' jerseys are seized by Juventus. The firm owned by Ronaldo's brother, Mussara, denied any agreement with Pegasus.

The Italian business claimed that Hugo gave his OK for the CR7 museum logo to be used in place of the Adidas brand.

Pegasus also asserted that the museum in Madeira, Portugal, offered the identical "fake" Cristiano Ronaldo jerseys.

Hugo is currently being sued by Pegasus, and as was previously announced, the court date has finally been set for June 20 of this year.
